Senior Medical Representative

Job description

The hybrid Medical Representative manages an assigned territory (Mechelen, Ghent-SintNiklaas or Asse-Aalst-Dendermonde): Promote our portfolio by visiting and building relationships with HCPs, analyze the business, create and execute appropriate strategy to reach sales goals and share insights from the market. The hybrid Medical representative also engages with pharmacist by promoting our portfolio and supports sales actions. The hybrid Medical representative is an ambassador of the company acting as medical partner to HCPs (GP’s, Specialists and pharmacists) and takes the lead in organizing different educational and scientific events.

Responsibilities
  • Promote our portfolio by visiting and building relationships with general practitioners and specialists
  • Analyze the business to build and execute a strategy and action plans to meet sales goals for assigned territory
  • Drive territory sales performance, market share, sales force effectiveness
  • Acting upon needs of customer within range of service possibilities
  • Develop effective professional business relationships with customers that support delivery of business results across a range of therapeutic areas.
  • Differentiate the company as a leader in generic medicines by visiting GPs, specialists and pharmacists
  • Understand and highlight trends, share field/market insights with management
  • Participate in educational and scientific events towards HCPs

 

Profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Science, Business or related field
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of sales experience (in pharmaceutical industry is a plus)
  • Experience in using digital platforms
  • Fluent in regional spoken language, English
